Review on Tripp Lite HDMI Dual Cat5/Cat6 Extender Transmitter & Receiver for Video/Audio: 1920x1200 1080p @ 24Hz (HDMI M/F) by Nikki Cooper

I bought 2 of these extenders to connect 2 Sony HD TVs in our house to the HDMI and DisplayPort outputs on our desktop computer in our office. The computer has a Sapphire HD6770 Flex graphics card. Both extensions use 24 AWG Cat5e unshielded solid wire. One run is 50 feet, another 100 feet, and the desired resolution is 720P. The TV 50 feet away works fine, but the TV 100 feet away dropped frames and the picture jerked from time to time and showed full screen videos. The sound was perfect on both TVs. I returned the Tripp Lite extension I used on 100ft and replaced it with a Cable Matters HDBaseT (ASIN: B005H4Y6TA) extension, which works great.
