The remote control works with our Smart TV. We've had it for a few weeks and initially it worked great and was very responsive as long as you pointed it next to the TV. Now that I've had it for a few weeks, the remote still works, but it's not as responsive; You have to intentionally point the remote at the light on the front of the TV, and you may have to press the button a few times for the TV to respond. It was still a good price, but I wonder if it will even work with the TV in a couple of weeks. The remote feels lighter and less durable than the Samsung remote, but given that it was significantly cheaper than the Samsung brand, that's understandable. I would probably buy it again anyway as it was such a good price (unless it stops working in the coming weeks).
