Review on WACOOL 3-Piece Ceramic Knife Set: 6-inch Chef's Knife, 5-inch Utility Knife, 4-inch Fruit Paring Knife with Colorful Handles and Knife Sheaths by Robert Lewis

Bought these knives for my wife who has long wanted a set of ceramic knives for our kitchen. These knives are very sharp and she loved them. However, after about a week, I cut off a piece of cheddar cheese with a small knife, and the blade snapped off immediately. We used them for about a week and the little knife was already broken. They were cheap and I bought them so she could try a ceramic knife to see if she liked them. It did, but since they only lasted a week with moderate use, I'd say these knives aren't durable enough for everyday use. UPDATE 05/31/17: The seller contacted me directly and offered to send another set of knives. I will try this new set and update my review. I'm impressed with the customer service. I was about to write off one knife as a loss as I had two left and they were cheap. UPDATE 06/04/17; We've been using the new set for a few days. I have read the instructions on the packaging and they advise against using hard/dense items. The instructions also warn against twisting the knife when cutting. I think that might be why he broke the first knife. I cut a chunk of cheddar cheese from a large block and may have accidentally twisted the blade. Upgrading my original 2 star rating because of the excellent customer service and knowing I may have broken the first knife.
