I bought them after a puppy, kitten and 8 kids abused our sofas. The frame and construction of our sofas are still good, just chewed and scratched. Then our guys began to peel off the skin, which began to lift. I didn't see the point of spending another $1,500 on sofas when ours is only 4 years old and our kids are wearing them out too. So I started looking for duct tape for our couches. As this is a collapsible piece of furniture, typical sofa covers will not fit. Then I came across this one. I wasn't expecting much given the price. I was pleasantly surprised when I took them out of the packaging. They are heavy and feel like a good crazy blanket. There is tape on the back corner of each side to keep it from sliding off. I won't even put it in sofas because it will be a losing battle with the kids. I hope they can deal with my drunk hobbits!
