The ratings speak for themselves. The sound quality is very good, I use it with the new Asus Xonar Phoebus. Most of all, medium and high frequencies are pleasing, every small nuance in the music is captured. Bass in general may be lacking by 100%, however, when listening to really "bass" compositions, this cannot be said. The bass level here depends on the location of the speaker relative to the ear, which is affected by the length of the rim (you need to select it) and its location on the head. Nobody canceled the equalizer either, you can safely raise the range of 30-40 Hz. Also, after the ear pads are a little flattened, the speaker will become closer to the ear and there will be more bass. In my opinion, the engineers should have installed thinner ear pads like, for example, the HD202. I highly recommend headphones for those who understand the sound quality.
