Item was shipped quickly. I have a cheap charcoal grill. The grill is relatively close to coals. I thought mats would be good protection against small pieces of food falling into the fire. The mats offer an easy-to-clean non-stick surface; However, the carpet will burn if left over hot coals. When I cleaned my carpet I found that the gray area had mostly dissipated and there was a huge hole in it after washing the carpet. See image. At the moment I am not sure if the mat can be used for a long time or if it is semi-disposable. The black portion of the mat seemed to survive well and become clear.
