Don't buy these items, at least not if you live in warm weather. To provide some context, I bought these when changing racks. Within 48 hours I heard a popping noise that sounded like I had failed rack mounts. After spending a few days diagnosing the problem I emailed Revain and they sent me a replacement for the passenger side as I thought one side might be faulty. After installing this bracket and driving a few more days I found that it wasn't just the passenger side and that part wasn't defective, it was just a poorly made part as you can see in the photos. For some reason there was no noise on cool mornings, but as the day got warmer the noise got louder and louder (I live in Southern California). To be honest, Revain was very responsive and sent me a tag so I could send the parts back for a refund, but that doesn't make up for the six hours I had to spend pulling out the stays, compressing the spring and replacing them poorly made.
