Purchased February 2020 Easy to install. There are four valve stem sensors; Unscrew the valve stem cap (secure!), screw in the locking plate as far as it will go, screw on the sensor, unscrew the locking plate in the sensor as far as it will go. They provide a fun flat wrench for final tightening. Whatever it's worth, they may not be needed; when i took mine off in october 2020, 8 months later, all the lock washers lost contact with their sensors, all 4 sensors had been unscrewed by hand and none was in danger of falling off by itself. Sometime in July or August the display power button stopped working, got stuck. This device is solar powered so there's no risk of the battery dying, but if the sensors or display doesn't detect movement for a while, the display appears to beep 15 times a few times a minute. It turns off as soon as you move, but if you stand with the windows open it gets worse. Then, in early October, the display stopped working, it squeaked unevenly. Lots of sun for the solar panel. A few days later I removed the four sensors and their lock washers and threw them all away. So 8 months more or less. I think it was worth it. I got this because a tire had a weird leak that was losing 10-15 psi every few weeks and otherwise not losing air. It turned out to be a nail inside near the side panel, but it can still be repaired once found. It only happened when the tire was in a very specific position when parking and only happened 2 or 3 times. So I tried this TPMS and it warned me. So I think it was worth it, even if it didn't take long. The only other glitch was a sensor that read 22psi for a few minutes maybe once a month (usually 35psi) and suddenly emit a series of beeps once a week or two, all pressure and temp were normal.
