I installed this device after trying to figure out how to do it correctly. Yes, you can do it without a manual, but documentation is an important part of the product and the company should be ashamed for not making the effort. Telephone to know where to go? Don't we use it on a computer?). The site's address is above it in small print, but when I tried to go to the given site, it wasn't there. I searched for "benss tech" and found the page. There is no instruction manual or instruction manual for the device. "Owner's Manual" and "Instructions" on the website are clear as dirt. There is no downloadable version. If you do not wish to return to the website for each question, you must print them out using your browser's print function. Don't expect good printout and clear instructions. You have to find out. There are several downloads on the download page. First, the driver for Windows 7-8-10 that you want to install. If you want the program that came with the device (optional - you can do everything without it), search for "Smart ID Document Encryption" and download it. Another download that looks like an updated driver does absolutely nothing. I don't know what it is for. If you just want to use it with Windows Hello, follow the instructions or look for other Windows Hello instructions. It is built into Windows 10. It is enough to log in to Windows and any program that is integrated with Windows Hello (including Roboform).
