The hardware works fine, but the documentation is terrible.

I installed this device after trying to figure out how to do it correctly. Yes, you can do it without a manual, but documentation is an important part of the product and the company should be ashamed for not making the effort. Telephone to know where to go? Don't we use it on a computer?). The site's address is above it in small print, but when I tried to go to the given site, it wasn't there. I searched for "benss tech" and found the page. There is no instruction manual or instruction manualโ€ฆ

Good for convenience but not true security

There were some setup errors that may be related to the fingerprint reader itself. The reader is Hello compatible and works with Windows 10 without additional drivers. However, when I first plugged the fingerprint reader into my keyboard's USB port so that it was conveniently accessible from the back, Windows 10 refused to treat the reader as something compatible with Hello. Moving the reader to a USB hub produced the same results. It wasn't until I first plugged the reader into a port thatโ€ฆ

Small, easy and fast to use with Windows Hello/SAP etc - perfect for laptop

As you can see in the picture I have been testing and working with many fingerprint sensors for almost 20 years. The Benss sensor is by far the smallest we've tested. Two Benss sensors can be seen in the picture. can you find her We recently integrated our bioLock biometric control center for SAP ERP with Windows Hello. Therefore, we identify user-friendly and easy-to-install fingerprint devices that work with Windows Hello. From the user's point of view, the Benss sensor clearly deserves aโ€ฆ
