I work at a fragrance lab and occasionally I would be making a tart to take home. It comes with a silicon cup to place the wax tarts and it starts to melt once the lamp is on. Once the wax solidifies, I pop out the tart and I noticed that the inside and out of the cup was covered in wax. It started to flake off and was difficult to clean. There is a chance it can be my wax causing the problem but I used different types of wax when it comes to making tarts so that reason isn’t right. I don’t know this can be better but it is what it is. At my job in the bathrooms, the wax lamps are made clay (like pottery) and there hasn’t been any trouble so far with that.
