Another Yealink phone comes with RPS support. This is provided in Yealink RPS. This means that after a factory reset, the phone will connect to Yealink to update its settings and erase your settings. I received another Yealink phone configured for a dental office. For phones I install at the office, I block RPS in the firewall to hide the problem, but for a customer's home phone, this is impractical. Removing a phone from the RPS requires proof of ownership from the original owner and is an issue that something "recertified" shouldn't require.
