Choosing the right size is key to drawer slide purchases! Dimensions (overall length when closed, height - top/bottom and width - the distance between the drawer side and the opening) are very important. In particular, the width is too thin and the slide will not properly "fill" the opening between the drawer and the base; too thick and doesn't fit. The thickness should be the same as the hole; actually a little less to create some "play" between the drawer and the wall unit. Not understanding these requirements initially, I had to return my original order (too big) and exchange for this one that fits perfectly. Chutes are relatively easy to set up, but getting both chutes aligned (i.e. parallel) can be difficult; Otherwise the drawer "jams" when moving in and out. Once everything is properly aligned, the box should "slide" in and out. The quality is very good. Strong steel (expensive, thin stamped steel) with ball bearing guides. Should last a long time with normal use. I used them on a platform with a keyboard so they are used daily (login/logout).
