I used them in a homemade handbag. This morning, about two months after I started using my purse, the bracket broke while crossing the street and the purse was thrown onto the street. The bag measures just 9" x 5" x 3" and I'm not carrying any dark matter, so it doesn't look like it's been heavily used. I've never had carabiners that give so easily. I would not recommend. UPDATE : I've had 2 more rejections in the last 3 months so I'm pretty sure it wasn't an accident - they just aren't high quality.
