Difficult to install but worth it for the durability and looks

Difficult to install but worth it for the looks. They have a lower angle than most similar ones sold at Revain, which is nice. You'll need a drill to install them and maybe an extra set of hands or a vise. But the short screws used to connect the plate to the legs aren't perfect and don't seem long enough. If you used shorter screws to connect the top to the legs, be extra careful when turning the furniture over. The legs will disengage from the plate and bolts when subjected to side loading (e.g. when using the legs as a mechanical fulcrum during rollover). However, that shouldn't stop you from buying them or other devices with a similar design. They are very strong when in the right position. They also come with felt pads for the bottom of each leg to prevent floor scratches, which is a nice touch. Do not remove them after initial installation, the wood will crack and they will fall off if you try to attach them to the back. So I don't recommend this style if you move a lot. Also, do not use the legs as handles when transporting furniture onto a truck or similar. This is very important as it will make the connection between the board and the legs weak and likely cause the short screws to come out of the wood.

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
