High-quality Solid Wood Furniture Legs for Mid-Century Modern Style - Set of 4, 6 Inches, Walnut Color Review

We had an old piece of furniture that we didn't want to get rid of because of its sentimental value, but it was basically just a piece of wood. We bought these legs to update the look. The instructions are very nice - they said "I believe in you!" which was very nice. Basically you just drill holes and install. It took us about 30 minutes to install four legs. They have been holding our TV for a year with no problems.

Bought these for an oak dresser I built as I can't make them myself. They're pretty, they look like solid oak, and they're well made and well finished - smooth, attractive, with a good resin finish. The mounting plates are good too, with a chamfered side for screw heads. The included screws looked like cheap drywall screws to me, but I didn't care - I used my own screws anyway. Very happy with how they look on the finished product.

Looks very nice but you have to screw the plates to the legs and then to the base of your furniture. There are no pre-drilled holes on the legs, so it's difficult to hold and screw the plate in place without skewing the screws. The plate does not protrude far enough that the angle of the leg prevents you from driving 2 screws straight in without effort. I like the way they look. I was afraid what was sent might not match the product images but it was accurate and they looked great. Although the installation could be a bit easier. There is nothing to ensure the legs line up with the brackets, but I believe this allows for flexibility in installation. The instructions just said to screw the mount plates directly onto the legs, but I took the extra step of pre-drilling a few holes. The only real complaint is that the mounting plates are small…

PRO: - Good quality of wood - Color matches my TV stand perfectly - After adjusting it a bit to my stand the end result was great CONS: - I have reviews read about pre-drilled holes not matching the holes on the panels. I took the risk anyway after seeing "they were working to fix it". nope Still not aligned. It was very difficult to screw the legs to the panels as they need to be flush with the panel in order to easily attach to your furniture. (photo attached) It was so bad I had to pre-drill

Difficult to install but worth it for the looks. They have a lower angle than most similar ones sold at Revain, which is nice. You'll need a drill to install them and maybe an extra set of hands or a vise. But the short screws used to connect the plate to the legs aren't perfect and don't seem long enough. If you used shorter screws to connect the top to the legs, be extra careful when turning the furniture over. The legs will disengage from the plate and bolts when subjected to side loading…

I was very impressed with the installation of two of these kits tonight. Can't comment on durability but I can say they look great and are easy to install. I put them on a 5 year old Scandinavian Designs sofa + 2 seater chair and they totally take the set from um to WOW! However, I have one piece of advice. You will definitely need an extension/extended Phillips #2 wrench or you'll break the legs with your cordless screwdriver. If you do chores, you already have it. If not, go ahead and get it.
