Big! Until it becomes a water bottle

After all the positive reviews I tried this rolling pin. It's beautiful and has measuring wheels if you want to see how thick your dough is rolling out. However, the kicker after just one use: water in the pin. The needle itself can be dishwashed, which I did. I hand washed the small round yards. When I took the rolling pin out of the washing machine, it whistled every time I moved it and water droplets came out when I shook it. I can't even unroll it to drain the water. Don't state in the instruction manual that it's dishwasher safe if the material can be kept in the dishwasher for washing, but the parts have enough clearance to trap water in the pen! So I'm stuck - I can't roll it out on the dough as the water comes out just a few drops at a time and as I said it doesn't fall apart. It's best to use a regular wooden rolling pin with no screws or handles.

Pros
  • ADJUSTABLE: Use three size rings (included) to dial in the thickness of your dough, from wafer-thin croissants to deep pizza crusts. Pen
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
