I just received this jacket so I won't test how well it holds up. I check its fit out of the box as well as her fit. I wear everything very large. XL always fits me perfectly. This jacket fits me perfectly. Yes, a brand new lined leather jacket will feel a little tight at first, especially when trying on a flannel jacket or hoodie. But this is new. This skin relaxes quite quickly and begins to feel much more comfortable. Leather jackets (and vests) will stretch over time from use, from layering, from the wind, and from putting things in pockets and so on. If you wear different sizes in different shirts and coats, I have no advice for you. If, like me, you always wear a certain size, go for it. If you're heavy, you might want to look at a different style. It's definitely a pretty sporty cut. The leather is instantly soft and supple and smells just like a new leather jacket. My only concern is that it has too many pockets. I can't find things. I don't even feel some of them. The chest pockets (stacked 3 on top of each other) are quite deep and if you drop something small you are far away. Don't forget which one you put your keys in. It will take you 15 minutes to find them. I keep discovering new bags I didn't know about. I'm half joking but seriously I think they can halve the number of bags and you still end up with too many.
