This is a two piece costume brooch. Most are crown shaped, 1.5 inches wide and 1 inch high. The smaller part is ¼ inch in diameter. The crown has 5 gems at the top and 9 at the bottom. Closes with a straight zipper at the back. The smaller part fastens with a zipper. The two pieces are connected by two pieces of chain, the shorter of which is 3 inches long. The item will be shipped in a ziplock bag inside a cardboard box. The country of origin is not indicated on the product or on the packaging. I find this item fits best in my kids' dressing box. The stone in the center of the crown is gray rather than shiny, detracting from the appearance of the entire piece. Up close, the metal crown looks like it was hammered out of cheap metal. But from a distance this detail will look good on a children's suit. In general, this part is large enough to be visible from afar, but does not stand up to close attention.
