These lights are perfect for my off road apartment! They are so beautiful and the bulbs look like big drops of water. They are also very strong. I live a block from the beach so hopefully the salty air isn't too harsh but so far so good. EDIT: I was just having trouble with it. They work fine for a few weeks, but then things go wrong. I changed about four strings just because I like the way they look. However, at this stage, I'm just spending money. The cable itself breaks easily rendering any lights useless once broken. Some lightbulbs no longer work or even with new batteries. The battery life itself isn't bad, I was even surprised, but anything else is too much of a headache. If you use them very infrequently and/or indoors, that might be fine. But for outdoor lighting, they are not durable at all. They're nice, but I wouldn't call it street lighting.
