I have mixed feelings about this hub.

I ordered this Realm USB C Hub to expand the limited number of ports on my laptop. I really wanted to like him. I like it but there are a few problems with it. Although this hub has many ports (including four USB 2 ports, three USB 3 ports, an SD card reader, a micro SD card reader, an Ethernet port, a UHD port, a microphone jack), they work not all correct. When the phone charger was plugged into the USB 2 port on the side with the SD card ports, my phone charged for a few seconds, then stopped charging and repeated this by turning it on and off. I switched the charging cable to a USB 2 port on the opposite side and this problem was gone. It is also speculated that it will be able to charge the phone wirelessly. This is another of the 'issues' I mentioned as charging was also very buggy. It charges for a few seconds and then stops. I moved the phone around a bit and it started charging again, but not for more than a minute or two. I have an iPhone X and I removed the case. I have another wireless charger and haven't had any issues with it, so this hub must have this issue as well. The SD card reader is a bit different as the cards barely go in and it doesn't appear to sit at all. The port is flat and feels "tight". However, the map is displayed on the computer. I currently have a portable hard drive connected to one of the USB 3 ports and am browsing through the photos stored on it. It seems a bit slower than plugging the drive into a USB-C port on my computer, but of course USB-C ports are faster than USB-3 ports, so I'd give it high marks for speed. As for the build of this device, it's pretty solid and attractive. I wish the fork was longer. So overall, my feelings about this hub are mixed. Considering the $75 price tag plus the faulty USB port and wireless charger, I can't rate it higher than three stars.
