I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I live on top of a hill and I can't tell you how many times I've opened my trunk after grocery shopping and something has fallen out of my bag and onto the ground (in some cases a bottle of something has broken). Not good ! So I finally did a little research and found this web. At the bottom of my chest near the door are 2 silver metal hooks. I wrapped a piece of mesh around the small round clips I already have on the sides of the back of my suitcase, then threaded it through the silver metal hooks on the bottom (had to pull on them pretty hard) and then bought it back. hooked to small round clips and other loops. The mesh is quite large as it doesn't stretch across the back of my car but works great. Nothing has fallen out of my trunk since I put it down. I recommend.
