- The screen, which may come as a surprise. According to a number of independent sources, this is IPS; but, for some reason, it is very pale, lacks contrast, and becomes substantially whiter when viewed at an angle that is not perpendicular to it. The configuration options in Settings are at least comparable to the same version of the user interface that is seen on Samsung smartphones. Despite the fact that I have an IPS monitor, television, and laptop at both my home and my place of employment, I have never seen either the fog or the shroud effect.
