I love this rug! Some things you might want to know: a) All around markings are in millimeters not inches. b) but there are measurements in inches along the top and right sides, c) measurements are on one side only, d) as mentioned by some others, I'm not sure if the markings will rub off over time, especially after washing , but it's ok, i use rug for body shaping and always use a sewing ruler, e) i have the pink one and it's sooooo pretty! translucent and almost coral colored, e) I'm also not sure if it's "self-healing" like the self-healing rugs you get in the sewing department of a craft store. I cut it a bit and left marks. Note that these are just cut marks, almost like a tire skid on the road. Cuts tend to leave thin marks rather than indentations, but they can ultimately be a distraction. All in all I knew most of this from the description and it will work great for me as I plan to use it as a handy base for my sculpture classes. The only reason I put 4 instead of 5 is because I doubt the grid lines will hold up after repeated use and washing. But for the price it's a lot and sooo cute!
