Review on Sewing Machine Beginners Upgraded Portable by Carla Anderson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Terrible quality - waste of money.

That's a piece of crap. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced seamstress, avoid this item like the plague. There doesn't seem to be a tension regulator, but it's just a spring stuck in the side of the machine. So there is no way to control the flow, it just runs continuously. The connector is so weak that like all the others it slips out when the machine vibrates. Sting. They give you a bunch of pre-wound bobbins and small spoonfuls of yarn. They do not fit together. Some coils are wound so poorly that they are unusable. They give a seam ripper, I had a huge burr at the top and it was bending. The cord for the foot is so short that it doesn't reach the ground. I bought this for my 6 year old granddaughter to start sewing. She was so excited opened it as a birthday gift and insisted on sitting down and trying it out right away. It was a complete disaster. I only see them occasionally so it really ruined the day. Honestly, don't buy this - buy a used real sewing machine. You will be much happier.
