This is an excellent tool. This tool was supposed to fit perfectly and I was worried about the poor quality which would ruin my engine. I was wrong. It is better constructed than the factory BMW tool and therefore less difficult to use. It's also a lot cheaper. It comes with a flywheel lock (bottom right of the product image) and a VANOS gear position lock to reinstall the VANOS actuators exactly where they need to be.
