I really wanted to like these rugs. I'm not a fan of the semi-rigid plastic/rubber floor mats I've tried. I don't think they improve the look of a very nice car. Of course they protect/conceal the original carpeting and are easier to clean than carpets, I don't take my Tesla off-road or in the mud. However, there are days when we have to climb in during a downpour for the water/mud to actually hit the ground. I was hoping that they would look less like a truck floor and offer some protection while improving the look. I watched the installation video (instructions included are not very clear) and got to work. I left with the belief that they either sent me the wrong kit or shot a video with something other than the 2019 Model 3. No matter what I did I couldn't get the fit shown in the video. Rugs are well made with sewn on. Edge. The description says they are made of "not plastic" and leather. I don't know what the material is but it looks and feels like some kind of plastic. The patterned part is almost certainly not leather and does not look like leather. Whatever the material, it should last a long time. I've attached some photos and it's easy to see that my setup left a lot to be desired. I don't think they look very nice either. Looks a little flashy to me, I think I'll take out and vacuum the factory carpets every time they get dirty.
