I bought this for the mfcl8900cdw that I have installed in my home office. I print large reports several times a week and need a larger capacity tray. Installation is easy (you just take the printer and place it on the tray). Then all you have to do is make sure the printer driver recognizes the new tray on your computer, which means opening the printer settings and adding the tray. Installation and configuration took less than five minutes. I've been using it for about a month and haven't had any problems. In general, I am very satisfied with all Brother printers and have been a regular customer for many years.
