Installation was very similar to what others have described. And if you've done it before, it may take you 30 minutes to do it. This was my first time so it took me an hour as I was in no rush and struggling to pull the old bulbs out of the wiring harness. I bought an open box so I'm not sure if it's a manufacturer fad or something else. The quirk is this: when the light is off, the headlights are on, and when the light is on, the headlights are off. Whimsical aside, for 1/15th the price of other LED headlights, they're perfect. I can see the signs illuminating the block, but looking straight at the front of the car doesn't really hurt. It seems to be the quality of the light bar.
