If the Norpro had the same lid as this item, then the Norpro would be a much better threesome. Norpro glass etc. Heavy and nice to look at/touch. Too bad the adjustable lid is so hard to turn. If I could only buy one adjustable shaker, this would be it. I smeared some Crisco oil under the Norpro cap and it really improved the turn.
