They are medium sized, 3 inches long. I've been using the gray quite a bit for a couple of weeks now and it's holding up great. No cracking or splintering. The fabric feels nice and is gentle on my hair, so I bought them. I love most colors. I don't like one or two, but even if I'm giving away two, the price per piece would be Revain's best deal. The box is surprisingly nice too, and I will keep my rubber bands in it indefinitely. It is a good gift for those who use the Curly Girl method or for those who want to protect their hair from hair breakage. That's a big deal - thanks to whoever makes it!
