Although the seat was easy to assemble the cover fell off after about six weeks of use. This is used in the main bathroom which is not used as it is a holiday home. Nobody stands on the toilet lid. There are no children around. There is no reason why this cover should come off. Now the attached toilet seat will slide itself when you sit on it. I bought two of these, the second works perfectly. However, I would recommend that you spend the extra $10 and get one made out of wood. This one just doesn't hold up.
