very compact but the eject button is in a weird place on the front which makes it very easy to eject the disc accidentally. I could live with it because of the low price, but ended up sending it back because it wouldn't play my home-recorded DVDs. Worked well with commercial discs but discs I recorded myself. It didn't even play on DVD carriers of different brands. However, if you just want to save space on store-bought DVDs, this one will do.
