I was happy with this product mainly because it was designed to absorb oil from the hair. My hair is pretty greasy so I wanted to try it. The liners actually seem to keep my hair cleaner for longer. However, I have applied it to 3 different brushes and have found that they work best with simple single toothbrushes. On my scalloped bristle and boar bristle combo the liners can't go through the bristle portion so they sit on top of it. It was impossible for my Mason Pearson brush to get the liner all the way through. If I don't sit there for an hour and push through all the bristles. So that. Not my favorite. More trouble than necessary. I will finish the box but will not buy again.
