Review on 💅 EdenRays UV Gel Nail Polish Kit - 48W/24W Lamp, 6 Color & Platinum Gel, and Tool Set (Set-2) by Stephanie Burke

I'm new to making my own gel nail polish so I appreciate this kit has everything you need. I've tried other kits and the main difference with this one is how much I like the lamp! Unlike other kits I've tried, this lamp has a reflective metal base, so it won't light up every time a paper towel gets crumpled underneath. It also has a dedicated power button, so it's not just "always on" when plugged in. It has separate buttons for 5, 30, and 60 second timers and turns on automatically when you put your hand in it. It's enough for a whole hand (including thumb) or foot. Oh yes, and the reflective base is magnetic so it snaps on and off for easy cleaning :) It can also be used as a nail polish or makeup palette when you're not using the lamp. The cable is a little shorter than I would like. So I just have to think ahead when setting up to make sure I can get both hands in and out without twisting too much. I also wish there were nail cleaning wipes in the kit to get rid of the sticky layer so I didn't really have to leave the room to get something else. :) But otherwise I wouldn't change anything. The shades in this set are very beautiful and you can make many different color combinations with it. All the colors were fully opaque after two short coats which I really liked - I don't have the patience for repeated coats so I appreciate the quality of the colour. I could do flat single colors, some geometric patterns, ombre, glitter ombre. I even drew some flowers with a toothpick. Glitter gels are quite thick and it took me some effort to get all the little glitters exactly where I wanted them, but this is a gel polish so you have all the time to get it right. Two layers of glitter give an almost metallic look! Very happy with this set which includes my new favorite UV lamp and I will definitely buy it again (or buy other colors/formula from this brand).
