Pros: 1) Sharpness - perfect at 5DIII and 6D already at f1.4, good at 5DII 2) No soap, excellent detail (slightly better than 50/1.2L) 3) Fast autofocus 4) Nice colors 5) Nice value (relative to 50/1.2L) 6) Minimum focusing distance 0.4m With its cons. 1) Weight - 850g. too much for 50mm 2) High cost relative to Canon 50 / 1.4 and Sigma 50 / 1.4 3) When shooting people at a distance of 10 meters or more, it may miss the background by 1.4-2.5 4) Slightly worse pattern than 50 / 1.2L
