Review on AMD Processor Wraith Cooler YD1700BBAEBOX by Mateusz Smoliski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

If someone had told me 12 months ago that I would choose AMD for a new PC in a year, not Intel, then I would have laughed very loudly right in his face, spraying saliva, answering that only if I I want to punish myself with eternal torment of waiting with an act of self-immolation at the end. It turned out that someone would be right. Only in the end, I would buy myself a processor that is inferior to the analogue from Intel for a MORE high amount only in games where multithreading is not implemented, a processor in which power consumption is well optimized, with consequent low heat dissipation. In general, I definitely recommend!

Pros
  • - Fast. I bought it mainly to work in 3DS MAX for my wife, but I use it as a CPU for games. For rendering, it is simply incomparable - of course, it is VERY large order superior to the assembly on 2 Xeons, and one Xeon is ahead of 2 times. But now I'm talking about processors that cost $ 1000-1900, depending on the model and about this , for $400. The top consumer Intel i7-7700 will lose in the test, and the $1,000 6950 won't beat it by much. In games, fps is very high. If you do not feel the difference between 100 and 110 FPS, you can safely choose Ryzen. - rather cold. As far as I know, on models 1700x, 1800x, the temperature is too high by 20 degrees. Even if this is not the case, the temperature is still quite low. I have not risen above 80 degrees yet.
Cons
  • - There is no full support for Windows 7, which is very sad. From the 10s so far, not a very good impression - it seems to me somehow not holistic, there is no single ergonomics and style, everything is somehow in pieces a little bit from 7, a little bit from 8, a little bit more any heresy. So for me this is a definite minus. -RAM requirements. At a higher frequency, from 2667, the performance is 10-20% higher, if the frequency is 3200, then compared to 2667, there is not such a big difference, but only 3-5%. This is according to the reviews. That's why I bought 2666 RAM.
