Perfect for keeping my 1 year old off the stairs!
This gate is easy to install and is sturdy enough to keep my rambunctious 1 year old from shaking it down or opening it himself. The lock feature is great because you slide a button and pull up to actually disengage the locking mechanism. It takes a good bit of force to pull up so this gate would likely keep most toddlers from getting through.
