This is not only a regular vacuum cleaner that can be used at home, but also portable when you detach the main body tube to vacuum literally anything! You can even take it in your car since it's wireless! I used to have a portable vacuum from this company which is good too but this vacuum is much more powerful! The suction power of the Elite2 is incredible, even at low speeds. My main home vacuum before the Elite2 was the Shark, and the Elite2 has absolutely nothing to do with the Shark. My shark didn't catch anything even at maximum power. Now that the Elite2 is running at low speed I can vacuum the carpet and it picks it up effortlessly! It collected so much dust and dirt that my shark couldn't lift it. I love the digital display and how incredibly light the Elite2 is. You can also detach the battery and charge it anywhere, or just leave it attached to the vacuum cleaner, mount the wall plate and charge the vacuum cleaner while hanging on the wall plate. Assembling the vacuum cleaner is very easy. You just have to connect the 3 main parts together and then the battery! They have a vacuum roller, main body tube, and digital readout knob that all snap into place. The only thing I had trouble with was figuring out how to put the battery in first. I've always tried to put it back in place. All you have to do is align the railing on the battery and insert it. The vacuum also lasts about 30 minutes, which was enough for me to vacuum all the important areas of the house. It takes a few hours to fully charge, but it's worth the wait for me as it's portable.
