I loved that this product can be used to magnetically attach my range finder to the steering wheel shaft of a golf cart. While some attach it with front top brackets, my front top brackets are wrapped in vinyl as part of my car's weather protection. Therefore, the magnetic attraction would not be as strong as I would like. Another benefit is that in the event of a break in magnetic attraction (e.g. a large bump when the cart drives into a hole or sawn stump) the range finder will fall to the bottom of the cart where I hear and see. If it was connected to the front top support, it would fall out of the car if it fell, and it would not be immediately apparent that it was gone. Either way, the Bushwhacker Magnetic Universal Mount is the perfect solution for me.
