Affordable and works great as a second monitor for my laptop!

I needed a second screen for work as I have been working remotely since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. I didn't want to spend a lot as I'm on a tight budget and just needed something that worked well to make my job easier. I found this refurbished product (I think it's basically like the item in the opened box) which I'm happy with as it's listed as checked and tested, everything works. The only difference between this and the new one is that it's about $15 less, doesn't include a protective case, and isn't new. Well I like to save money, I don't need a case and I don't care that it's not new. I have a 15 inch Sony Vaio which is about 13 years old but still works and performs well. everything I need it for, so I don't have a pressing need for a new laptop right now. This monitor works right out of the box! It was packaged very well and it was a very simple plug and play product. I didn't have to install any drivers or do anything, I just plugged it into one of my laptop's USB 3.0 jacks (my laptop has 2 USB 3.0 ports and 1 USB 2.0 port) and it automatically connected, powered on and was ready to unplug, whatever I need The monitor comes with a Y-cable in case the monitor needs extra power, but luckily I only had to plug in the USB 3.0 end and didn't have to plug in the USB 2.0 port and plug in another port. I hope this description makes sense. I've had the monitor for almost 1 week and it's working great, I've had no problems, the high resolution looks great and there's no sign of a problem. I am incredibly happy with this find and it has definitely made my work from home easier.
