The reason the boots are sticking out of the side pocket is because you can't zip up when the boot is in. The bag is only about 3 inches wide. You can slide them in, but lightweight zippers (more on that in a moment) won't hold up. I would call a bag made of medium-strength material. Definitely NOT heavy duty. Lightning is just fine. They will definitely get clogged with dirt and sand. You know where to take your DIRT BIKE. It's quite big. The main compartment is a good size. For the price I could have kept them if the side pockets matched my boots. I don't want to put my smelly boots in with clean clothes. But the truth is, it won't last long. Maybe a season or two at best.
