Le Plume II

Marvy Uchida "Le Plume II" is a water-based marker. Cherry is a classic red. I find these markers very useful, especially for making custom fabric prints or for dying a small batch of fabric. ADVANTAGES:* They can be used on a variety of surfaces such as fabric or paper/cardboard.* Includes two tips. The fine tip has a narrow, hard tip suitable for fine line drawings or fine detail work. The tip of the brush is softer and wider, more like a small brush. Suitable for broad, bold strokes or surface painting.* Odorless! This does not mean the fumes are safe to breathe, it just means that they don't smell terribly. when you open them.* They come in a variety of colors. If there isn't an exact shade you want, you can always mix two or three markers together to get the color you want. They even make a colorless blend marker useful for ombre coloring. CONS: * The color of the cap doesn't necessarily match the color of the ink. As it dries, it becomes lighter and sometimes changes color. Always make a test pattern with the same material you will be working with just to be sure. In general, these are good, reliable markers. I have no complaints. Highly recommended!
