Review on 🎨 36-Color Magic Clay Set - DIY Air Dry Clay with Tools: The Perfect Children's Toy and Best Present for Kids by Wendy Rodriguez

Not bad! The perfect time killer!

I originally bought this set because I read a lot of good reviews and thought it was a good deal and I wanted to get into sculpting so I can make my own little figures and others during the quarantine could make things. I love how soft the material is, very light and fluffy. Absolutely no oil residue! It dries fairly quickly so always make sure the paint you are working with is sealed with as little air as possible. Each color comes in a small resealable bag which is a big plus! When it dries it will still be quite fluffy/soft but durable, be careful with it not to wrinkle or tear it. My only complaint is that I wish it was easier to fade out so the characters look more solid. Bumps on the left is the worst example of what I'm talking about (although I'm VERY new to this, so take that with a grain of salt - this glitch was probably more my fault than the tone itself). If you're not a perfectionist and just want to entertain yourself or your kids, it doesn't really matter. The tools are pretty good too, very useful. I'm looking for something productive to kill time. I would say that tone is the right one. Just make sure you order a second batch like I did if you plan to do larger projects. The bangs on the right needed a whole shade of orange. The bags may appear small, but you can still get a lot out of them if you know how to ration them. However, it never hurts to have a little more! :)

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
