I like that it allows us to reach out directly with our potential customers, giving them the chance to opt in or not so we can have better communication going forward.

It is a great tool but sometimes you get stuck in loops and you end up talking forever about something completely irrelevant. If you are looking for an auto-responder service, this might be good enough for you. We were able to use it as a way to communicate more effectively with new contacts and even those who had previously opted into our list.
