Not very good I think you get what you pay for

Good point: It measures current when you insert the end of a screwdriver into an outlet or touch a live wire and press a button ( just ). There is reading material. Do the same with DC. All, even though my DC voltage of 12 volts showed as 55 volts. Hold down the "Straight" key and touch the end of the end of the screwdriver and continuity will appear. The instructions say nothing about it. While holding down the "Direct" button, check that the cable is powered on and the blue light will glow dimly, acting as a disconnect detector. Place it on either side of the flat wire and the hot wire will show blue and neutral zero as it should. One side is food, the other isn't. Minus - induction does not work at all. If you press the button and look for a break along the wire, the live wire indicator will never go away when you see one. I do not know what you are talking about. Almost useless feature. I'm only going to keep it because the continuity indicator works well for a break detector. I'll try to find a break in the tree lights so we'll see.
