We've had these in the past but needed a new one so I bought this one. We don't use this type of gear very often, but when we do it's mostly a matter of life and death. It works as it should. You must know how to use this BEFORE using it on an animal or you may be doing more harm than good. We mainly use it for children. In the case of twin goats born at night in minus fifteen degrees, one of them felt fine the next morning and the other seemed dead. I rushed to the house, took out this device, and in a couple of hours he was already leaving. He survived and is now an adult. Highly recommended.
