Review on Planet Bike 3040 Superflash Headlight by Scott Rao

I bought this set of lights because the battery in my halogen helmet light was dead. Pros: The taillight is amazing. Worth the price alone. The headlight consumes battery power - it works almost forever. Disadvantages: Tail light has no disadvantages. it swings The headlight is not bright enough to be practical. I now know very well how to get to work, and most of it is lit by streetlights, but the headlights are still not bright enough for me to be comfortable. There is no headlamp mount on the helmet (nor does Revain sell one). Have used the headlight twice then went and bought the 2 watt version. This meets the requirements of an inexpensive headlight. The half watt version with this set is not bright enough to be classified as a headlamp in my opinion. If you mainly want a headlight, don't buy this one. Buy a 2-watt headlight from Planet Bike. If you mainly need a rear light, then this headlight is a good addition.
