First, the description is wrong! /With! It should read "480 Mbps" which is the maximum throughput of USB 2.0. If you are trying to use it on an older Mac and went to their website to get the driver. You will find that they put 10.610.14 as one download and 10.15 as the other. I had to use a newer 10.15 driver on my old MacBook (10.13) to make it work. Mac users should disable Apple's gatekeeper via terminal: sudo spctl --master-disable <--- (google it). But even on 10.13.6 it doesn't work with the recommended drivers. but oddly the newer 10.15 drivers worked on 10.13.6. So if you are using macOS and stuck, try this. Anyway, this gave me 120 Mbps for TOPS download, 10 feet away, line of sight. In another room, the speed dropped to 50 Mbit/s. So I returned it.
