Not 100%. I have 7 minutes ride on tarmac on a 7 speed city bike. The sleeve does not have the ability to lock the cup in place. If you're using a Venti Starbucks reusable cold glass and you hit a pothole, you better have quick hands if you don't want to lose your $24 glass down the road. I like the idea, but the design needs some practical improvements. Secure with foam tape or similar. And make sure you keep any Allen keys you ever got from IKEA, as that doesn't come with the one you need to install. I rode it for three days and ordered a spring loaded bell to replace it. This might be the best first choice if you are looking for a really practical solution.
